Ngl I usually avoid modern streaming shows like the plague because they all feel like hollow corporate products, but The Last of Us is a massive exception.The writing on this show is just phenomenal. It’s just a brutal, grounded character drama about grief and human nature. The performances from Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are insane, they make you feel every single ounce of pain.It honestly reminds me of the older HBO days where networks actually cared about storytelling and building slow-burn tension instead of just rushing the plot.Are you guys caught up with the second season? That premiere was absolutely devastating, I’m still processing it. No major spoilers for the later episodes please, but how are we feeling about the adaptation so far?
