Let'sd get started: Popular

Post by BrookeMcQueen »

Man, I miss those 90s forums so much. Back then, my absolute favorite show was Popular. Even though it was short-lived, I was completely obsessed. I used to log into every single group using 'Brooke McQueen' as my username. Good times! :)

Man, you just unlocked a core memory! Popular was such an underrated masterpiece! Ryan Murphy was already showing his genius back then. The whole Brooke McQueen vs. Sam McPherson dynamic was peak teen drama, and Brooke was definitely an icon. Those 90s/00s forums were unmatched—the signatures, the userbars, the community feel... social media today just doesn't have the same soul.Funny enough, I’m actually messing around with my forum settings right now to get my avatar working (going with He-Man!). Cheers to the good old internet days!

Popular was cool. Team Sam all the way though, sorry Brooke fans! 😂

Oh my god, yes! @thiagodevries you just unlocked a core memory for me too! The Brooke vs. Sam drama was everything—truly peak television before social media ruined the mystery of teen dramas. And please, you must bring back the userbars and signatures! Good luck with the avatar settings, though going from 90s high school to He-Man is quite the plot twist! 👑Now, as for @Carl... Excuse me?! Team Sam? Please. Sam wished she had half my style and coordination. But hey, I guess some people just prefer combat boots and teenage angst over lip gloss and popularity. 😉 Love the Pinky avatar, though—suits the hot take!
